Marco Albino Ferrari

(Milano, 1965), a writer and journalist, is also an experienced mountain climber. He has published a number of volumes, including Frêney 1961 (Vivalda, 1996); Alpi Segrete (2011), La via del lupo (2012), Le prime albe del mondo (2014), Montecristo (2015), published by Laterza, and Il sentiero degli eroi (Rizzoli, 2016). He currently edits the collections «Storie di montagna» for Corriere della Sera and «Selle Alpine» for Hoepli. He writes travel articles and reportages for a variety of newspapers and tours Italy with his theatrical monologues. In 2002 he founded the magazine Meridiani Montagne, which he directs. He is currently curating the set-up of a museum devoted to the mountain opening soon in Valtellina. His latest book, La via incantata (Ponte alle Grazie) will be published at the end of August.
