Alberto Riva

Alberto Riva (1970) is an Italian writer and journalist, who writes about literature and music for Venerdì di Repubblica. He lived in Brazil for many years. His books include: Seguire i pappagalli fino alla fine (Il Saggiatore, 2008), Sete (Mondadori, 2011), Il samba di Scarlatti (Mondadori, 2015). With Neri Pozza he published Il maestro e l'infanta (2021) and Ultima estate a Roccamare (2023), a journey along the Tuscan coast and into the great literature of the 20th century.
