Gianni Vattimo

Gianni Vattimo (1936)is one of Italy’s best known philosophers. He has taught at Turin University since 1964. He writes for La Stampa, Il Manifesto, L’Unità, L’Espresso, El Pais. In 1999 he was elected European deputy for the European Socialist Party. Recent publications: Dialogo con Nietzsche. Saggi 1961-2000 (Garzanti, 2001); Dopo la cristianità.
