Carlo Grande

Carlo Grande is a Turin journalist, he works for La Stampa and contributes to D la Repubblica delle donne, Diario and L’Indice, writing mostly on culture and environment. A former director of ‘Italia Nostra’, the first Italian environmentalist association, he collaborates with the Holden school. His first book was a collection of short stories, I cattivi elementi (Fernandel, 2000), special mention at the Cocito-Montà d’Alba prize. With the historical novel La via dei lupi (Tea, 2006), true story of a XIII Century Italian Braveheart, he won the Grinzane Civiltà della Montagna Prize and the San Vidal Prize. He has published for Ponte Alle Grazie the novel La cavalcata selvaggia (2004); and Padri. Avventure di maschi perplessi (2006); Terre alte. Il libro della montagna (2008).
