Bruno G. Bara
- The social brain
listen to the audio file
How does the social brain work, especially the part, called the intentionality circuit, that controls private, social and communicative intentions? Cognitive science has recently started to investigate those issues which are having a deep impact on both neuroscience and psychotherapy. Bara explains how the brain and mind of two individuals become attuned on an emotional and cognitive level, and the processes of human social interaction. The human brain has actually developed to meet the relational features of our species, and understanding these processes may help us shed light on the way we relate with other people.
