Roberto Danovaro
Roberto Danovaro teaches Marine Biology at the Marche Polytechnic University. For nearly a decade, he served as President of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station and currently chairs the Patto con il mare per la terra Foundation. He has led over 30 scientific expeditions around the globe and coordinates numerous international projects. For more than ten years, he has also presided over the Scientific Council of WWF Italy and is the author of 500 scientific publications. His work has received numerous international accolades, including awards from BMC Biology, the French Society of Oceanography, and the ENI Award for Environmental Protection. According to ExpertScape, he was the world’s most influential marine scientist between 2010 and 2020. His books include Condominio Terra (with M.
