Elisa Di Toro, co-founder of Densa, is an educator and project designer working at the intersection of education and social innovation. She supports teachers, educators, and young people in developing digital skills and media literacy through a plural, transmedia approach. Densa, the social cooperative she co-founded, creates and delivers innovative educational experiences. Since 2016, it has hosted Kidsbit in Perugia – a festival for children and families that celebrates digital creativity.

Donatella Di Pietrantonio lives in Penne, Abruzzo. Her novel L’Arminuta (Einaudi, 2017) earned her numerous awards, including the Premio Campiello. She is also the author of Mia madre è un fiume (first edition Elliot, 2011), Bella mia (first edition Elliot, 2014), Borgo Sud (2020), and L’età fragile – winner of the 2024 Premio Strega – all published by Einaudi. She won the David di Donatello together with Monica Zapelli for the screenplay of Giuseppe Bonito’s film L’Arminuta.

Her research focuses on women's political participation and the crisis of democratic representation in France. She is coauthor, with Didier Fassin, of Umanità in esilio. Roberto Danovaro teaches Marine Biology at the Marche Polytechnic University. For nearly a decade, he served as President of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station and currently chairs the Patto con il mare per la terra Foundation. He has led over 30 scientific expeditions around the globe and coordinates numerous international projects. For more than ten years, he has also presided over the Scientific Council of WWF Italy and is the author of 500 scientific publications. His work has received numerous international accolades, including awards from BMC Biology, the French Society of Oceanography, and the ENI Award for Environmental Protection. According to ExpertScape, he was the world’s most influential marine scientist between 2010 and 2020. His books include Condominio Terra (with M. Gallegati, Giunti, 2019), Rigenerare il pianeta (with M. Gallegati, Laterza, 2025), and Restaurare la natura (Edizioni Ambiente, 2025).

Gabriele Del Grande, writer, journalist, and filmmaker, he has been documenting migration since 2006, when he founded the blog Fortress Europe, the first European observatory on migrant shipwrecks in the Mediterranean. Since then, he has traveled as a freelance journalist through around thirty countries across both shores of the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Sahel. He is the author of the books Mamadou va a morire (2007), Roma senza fissa dimora (2009), and Il mare di mezzo (2010), published by Infinito edizioni; Dawla (2018) and Il secolo mobile (2023), published by Mondadori. In 2014, he conceived and co-directed the film Io sto con la sposa. Since 2024, he has been touring with the multimedia monologue Il secolo è mobile.

Daria Deflorian is an actress, author and director of plays. As an actress she worked with S. Braunschweig, M. Civica, Lotte Van Den Berg, L. Calamaro, F. Arcuri, M. Martone, Martha Clarke. He won the 2012 Ubu prize for best actress and in 2013 the Premio Hystrio. She has been sharing projects with Antonio Tagliarini since 2008, and with him she won the Ubu Award Best Text (2014), Best Performance foreigner in Canada (2015), the Riccione Prize for dramaturgy (2019) and the Hystrio Prize for Dramaturgy (2021).

Sabrina D’Alessandro is a visual artist and language scholar. Her research focuses on the relationship between word and imaginary, and on the expressive potential of rare and obsolete words. In 2009 he founded the URPS (Lost Words Resurrection Office). His work has been exhibited in public and private places of art and culture, in Italy and abroad, including CAMeC museum in La Spezia, which will inaugurate his personal exhibition in October 2021. She has published Il libro delle parole altrimenti smarrite (Rizzoli, 2011), Accendipensieri (Rizzoli Ragazzi, 2021).

Valeria Della Valle taught Italian Linguistics at the Sapienza University of Rome. Corresponding partner of Crusca and of Arcadia, she is the author of essays on ancient Tuscan texts, lexicography, the arts' vocabulary, the prose of contemporary narrators, as well as on and neologisms. With G. Patota he directed Il Nuovo Treccani (2018); she published several books, including Le parole valgono (Treccani, 2020) and in 2020-21 she hosted the TV program Le parole per dirlo (Rai 3).
