	<strong>Antonella Fioravanti</strong> is a scientist pioneering innovative approaches to disarm pathogenic bacteria. Her research &ndash; featured in journals such as <em>Nature Microbiology</em><em> &ndash; </em>has advanced new strategies to combat antibiotic-resistant infections. She has received international accolades, including the EOS Pipet Award (2020) from the Royal Academy of Belgium, and has served as a scientific advisor at the Italian Embassy in Brussels. Currently, she is a guest professor at ULB, an evaluator for the European Innovation Council, and President of the Parsec Foundation. Alongside her scientific work, she is committed to science communication, public policy, and championing women in STEM. In 2022, she was named Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy by President Mattarella. <em>Viaggio nel mondo invisibile</em> (Aboca, 2025) is her debut book.</p>

She began her career with Dario Fo and Franca Rame, and worked with famous Italian actors including Max Pisu, Marina Massironi and Corrado Tedeschi. She took part in many television programmes, including Zelig and Colorado. In cinema, he has worked alongside Ambra Angiolini and Giovanni Storti. He has published books with Garzanti, Fazi and Mondadori.<br />

	<strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-55f0fd78-7fff-2232-a667-13947dd729cb">Erika Fatland </span></strong>(b. 1983 in Haugesund, Norway) achieved her international breakthrough with <em>Sovietistan</em> (2014), for which she was awarded the Norwegian Booksellers&rsquo; Prize. She has an M.A. in social anthropology from the University of Oslo and the University of Copenhagen. Earlier works include <em>The Village of Angels. Stories from Beslan</em> (2011) and <em>The Year Without Summer </em>(2012). Her most recent books, <em>The Border. A Journey around Russia </em>(2017) and <em>High. A Journey across the Himalaya</em> (2019) were both shortlisted for Terzani Award and The Edward Standford Travel Book of the Year. In 2021 she won the Kapuściński Award for reportage. Her books are translated into 27 languages. She is currently working on a book about the Portuguese Empire.<br />

	<strong>Antonio Forcellino</strong>, architect, restorer and writer, he restored some of the major pieces of Renaissance Italian art: Michelagelo&rsquo;s grave for Giulio II in San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome, the facade of Pinturicchio&rsquo;s Libreria Piccolomini and Michelangelo&rsquo;s Altre Piccolomini in the Dome of Siena. His essays include the biographies of the three major Italian artists: <em>Michelangelo. Una vita inquieta</em> (Laterza, 2005), Raffaello. <em>Una vita felice</em> (Laterza, 2008), <em>Leonardo. Genio senza pace </em>(Laterza, 2016), being translated into the principal foreign languages. By the end of August the historical book <em>Il cavallo di bronzo</em>. <em>L&rsquo;avventura di Leonardo</em>, first volume of the trilogy <em>Il secolo dei Giganti</em>, will be published by HarperCollins Italia.&nbsp;</p>
