Marina Notaro is a versatile saxophonist acclaimed in both classical and contemporary repertoire, as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. She collaborates with leading orchestras such as the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra, the Filarmonica della Scala, and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra. As a soloist, she has performed A. Glazunov’s Concerto, H. Villa-Lobos’s Fantasia, and J. Ibert’s Concertino da Camera.

Viet Thanh Nguyen

Viet Thanh Nguyen’s novel The Sympathizer (2015) won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and was turned into an HBO adaptation. The recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim and MacArthur Foundations, his most recent publication is A Man of Two Faces: A Memoir, A History, A Memorial, and will be released this August in Italian. His next book is To Save and to Destroy: Writing as an Other, forthcoming from Harvard University Press in 2025. He teaches at the University of Southern California, where he is the Aerol Arnold Chair of English. All his books are translated into Italian by Neri Pozza.

Silvia Neri has a degree in Publishing and she is head of the pedagogy and didactics department at the “Libreria delle Ragazze e dei Ragazzi” in Milan, where she runs workshops for small kids from 0 to 6, and seminars for children. She specialises in reading and audio books, and always considers the voice as a universal means of expression, both emotional and artistic. The workshop is based on the book “Calmo come un panda” by Kyra Welley (Il Castoro, 2023).

He has translated and edited works of several Russian writers, including Puškin, Gogol’, Lermontov, Dostoevskij, Turgenev, Tolstoj, Čechov, Bulgakov, Chlebnikov, Venedikt Erofeev.

His film scores include his work for Peter Greenaway (such as The Draughtsman's Contract, 1982), Jane Campion (the score for the 1992 film The Piano sold over 3 million copies), Neil Jordan, Michael Winterbottom.

Matteo Nucci was born in Rome in 1970. He has published several novels with Ponte alle Grazie, including Sono comuni le cose degli amici (2009, finalist for the Premio Strega), Il toro non sbaglia mai (2011), È giusto obbedire alla notte (2017, finalist for the Premio Strega), and the narrative essay L’abisso di Eros (2018). For Einaudi, he released a new edition of Plato's Symposium (2009) and the narrative essays Le lacrime degli eroi (2013), Achille e Odisseo. La ferocia e l’inganno (2020), and Il grido di Pan (2023). With HarperCollins, he published the novel Sono difficili le cose belle (2022) and Sognava i leoni. L’eroismo fragile di Ernest Hemingway (2024). His short stories have appeared in magazines, anthologies, and eBooks. He also collaborates with the magazines La Stampa and L’Espresso. His latest novel is Platone. Una storia d’amore (Feltrinelli, 2025).

a well-known anthropologist of contemporary times, is Professor of Anthropology of Symbols at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples, where he also heads a research lab on Mediterranean diet. His main research focus is the relationship between tradition and cultural change in contemporary societies and the persistence of myth in the contaminated forms of the present time. He is a member of the steering committee of AISEA, the Italian Association of Ethno-Anthropological Sciences. He is a frequent contributor to the newsdaily La Repubblica and writes a column entitled Today’s Myths in its Friday supplement. He also contributes to Le Nouvel Observateur, Locarno’s il caffè and Naples’ Il Mattino. Among his books are Totem e ragù.
