Paolo Pecere is Associate Professor of History of Philosophy at Roma Tre University. His books include La vita lontana (Liberaria, 2018), Risorgere (Chiarelettere, 2019), and the textbook Filosofia. La ricerca della conoscenza (with R. Chiaradonna, Mondadori Education, 2018). He is also the author of Il dio che danza. Viaggi, trance e trasformazioni (Nottetempo, 2021). His most recent work is Il senso della natura. Sette sentieri per la Terra (Sellerio, 2024).

Simona Panseri, a graduate in Philosophy with a specialization in Logic and the Philosophy of Language, has held senior communications roles for over 25 years. From 2008 she served as Google’s Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Southern Europe, contributing actively to public discourse on the impact of new technologies. Her areas of focus have included the transformation of the media landscape through digital innovation; online journalism; internet safety and privacy; responsible and informed use of the web, particularly in safeguarding minors; the economic benefits of the internet; artificial intelligence; ESG principles and diversity and inclusion. Since May 2025, she has been Head of Communications, External Relations, Art, and Culture at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.

Claudia Palmarucci

Claudia Palmarucci studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata and holds the Ars in Fabula Master in Editorial Illustration. She has illustrated “Marie Curie nel paese della scienza” (Orecchio Acerbo, 2020; winner of Bologna Ragazzi Award 2020, Non Fiction), “L’incanto del buio” (Orecchio Acerbo, 2022) e “Différences” (Lirabelle, 2023). In 2023 she won the Andersen Award for best illustrator.

Sonia Maria Luce Possentini

Sonia Maria Luce Possentini is a painter and illustrator who has received awards and recognition both in Italy and abroad, including the 2017 Andersen Prize for Best Illustrator. She teaches Illustration at the International School of Comics in Reggio Emilia. Her illustrated works include “Poesie di luce” (Motta jr, 2015; Premio Rodari 2015), “Angeli” (Carthusia, 2017), “Il tesoro di Nina” (Carthusia, 2020), “Non avere paura” (Carthusia, 2020), “Poesie nell’erba” (AnimaMundi, 2021).

Mascia Premoli is a visual artist and researcher. A graduate in Decoration from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and a socio-pedagogical educator, in 2006 she obtained a Master's degree in Designing and Management of Educational Workshops according to the Bruno Munari method. She has also specialised in the Reggio Children approach by attending various training and study activities at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre.

Gisella Persio

Gisella Persio, designer, has organised festivals and events for children and kids, and promotes reading aloud and art workshops in schools. With Monica Giovinazzi she set up the art collective “L’albero delle Farfalle 2020” which focuses on designing and making book-objects with an educational purpose, using upcycling materials. The workshop is inspired by the book A chi appartengono le nuvole (Orecchio Acerbo, 2021).

Giuseppe Piccioni

Giuseppe Piccioni directed eleven movies. Awarded in Italy and abroad, he has taken part in many international film festivals. His fifth feature film was Fuori dal mondo (1999) with Margherita Buy and Silvio Orlando, winner of five David di Donatello awards and candidate to represent Italy at the Oscars. In 2001 Piccioni took part in the 58th Venice Film Festival with Luce dei miei occhi, Coppa Volpi for Sandra Ceccarelli and Luigi Lo Cascio. In 2004 he began working as a professor of directing, screenwriting and film acting at the Silvio D’Amico National Academy of Dramatic Art.

In 2020 he staged the theatre play Promenade de santé by Nicholas Bedos, with Filippo Timi and Lucia Mascino. His last film is L’ombra del giorno (2021), with Riccardo Scamarcio and Benedetta Porcaroli.

Lorenza Pieri is a writer, journalist and translator. She published the novels Isole minori (Edizioni E/O, 2016), Il giardino dei mostri (Edizioni E/O, 2019) and Erosione (Edizioni E/O, 2022). She is a naturalized American citizen, and she settled for eight years in Washington DC from where she wrote about politics and culture for several newspapers.

Daniela Perani

Daniela Perani, neurologist and neuroradiologist, she is full professor of Neuroscience at the San Raffaele University of Milan, having the chair of coordinator of the PhD course in Cognitive Neuroscience and of director of the postgraduate school in Neuropsychology. His research concerns cognitive neuroscience and the study of neurodegenerative diseases, applying in vivo molecular imaging techniques.
