	<strong>Sabrina Speich</strong> was born in Milan and lives in Paris. Passionate about the sea and sailing from her earliest years, she discovered science and in particular physics during high school. She then decided to bring her passions together and become an oceanographer physicist. Later, for work, she had the opportunity to live on different seas and continents as a lecturer in Oceanography and Climate Science. Today, she is a professor at the &Eacute;cole normale sup&eacute;rieure in Paris and a member of the Pierre-Simon Laplace Climate Institute. She conducts research on the role of the ocean on climate and marine biodiversity. She also chairs various committees for climate and the ocean, under the aegis of the World Meteorological Organisation and the UN. She is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and was awarded the Albert Defant Medal in 2019.</p>

She is a founding member and president of Amleta, an association which fights against inequality and violence in the performing arts. In 2021 she was awarded the Amnesty International Art and Human Rights Award. As an actress she has won the Hystrio Prize, the Imola Prize, the Anteprima Prize and was nominated for the prestigious Ubu Prize for theatre.</p>

	<strong>Elena Stancanelli </strong>was born in Florence and founded the Piccoli Maestri association to encourage reading in schools. She collaborates with <em>La Repubblica</em> and <em>La Stampa</em>. With Emma Dante and Giorgio Vasta, she has co-written the films <em>Le sorelle Macaluso</em> and <em>Misericordia</em>. He has written novels, including: <em>Benzina</em> (Einaudi, 1998) which inspired a film, and <em>La femmina nuda</em> (2016, finalist for the Strega Award), <em>Venne alla spiaggia un assassino</em> (2019) and <em>Il tuffatore</em> (2022, finalist for the Campiello Award) all published by La Nave di Teseo.</p>

He has illustrated many books, including: <em>L&#39;infinito</em> di Giacomo Leopardi (Einaudi Ragazzi, 2019), <em>Il venditore di felicit&agrave;</em> written by Davide Cal&igrave; (Kite, 2018) and has received numerous awards including, in 2019, the Andersen Award as best illustrator.</p>
