Maura Sandri is a technologist at INAF, the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics, the leading public research body in Italy for astronomy and astrophysics. In addition to design and research, she works in education and science outreach. She is part of the editorial team at Media Inaf and serves as editor-in-chief of the magazine Universi.

Sabrina Speich was born in Milan and lives in Paris. Passionate about the sea and sailing from her earliest years, she discovered science and in particular physics during high school. She then decided to bring her passions together and become an oceanographer physicist. Later, for work, she had the opportunity to live on different seas and continents as a lecturer in Oceanography and Climate Science. Today, she is a professor at the École normale supérieure in Paris and a member of the Pierre-Simon Laplace Climate Institute. She conducts research on the role of the ocean on climate and marine biodiversity. She also chairs various committees for climate and the ocean, under the aegis of the World Meteorological Organisation and the UN. She is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and was awarded the Albert Defant Medal in 2019.

Cinzia Spanò is an actress, playwright, theatre director and activist. She is a founding member and president of Amleta, an association which fights against inequality and violence in the performing arts. In 2021 she was awarded the Amnesty International Art and Human Rights Award. As an actress she has won the Hystrio Prize, the Imola Prize, the Anteprima Prize and was nominated for the prestigious Ubu Prize for theatre.

Elena Stancanelli was born in Florence and founded the Piccoli Maestri association to encourage reading in schools. She collaborates with La Repubblica and La Stampa. With Emma Dante and Giorgio Vasta, she has co-written the films Le sorelle Macaluso and Misericordia. He has written novels, including: Benzina (Einaudi, 1998) which inspired a film, and La femmina nuda (2016, finalist for the Strega Award), Venne alla spiaggia un assassino (2019) and Il tuffatore (2022, finalist for the Campiello Award) all published by La Nave di Teseo.

Marco Somà studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and attended the master’s degree in Illustration for Publishing “Ars in Fabula” in Macerata. He works as a freelance illustrator and teaches painting techniques and comics. He has illustrated many books, including: L'infinito di Giacomo Leopardi (Einaudi Ragazzi, 2019), Il venditore di felicità written by Davide Calì (Kite, 2018) and has received numerous awards including, in 2019, the Andersen Award as best illustrator.

She is the founder of the science magazine for kids PlaNCK!, organizes educational activities, has worked on radio and television broadcasts and writes books for children.
