Giorgio Volpi

Giorgio Volpi holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Turin, where he also earned a PhD in Chemical Sciences in 2010. He is a lecturer and scientific technician at the Department of Chemistry in Turin, where his research focuses on luminescence. In 2023, he earned a second degree in Natural Sciences. His essay La natura lo fa meglio (e prima) (Aboca Edizioni, 2024), which examines the relationship between human technology and the ingenuity of nature, was awarded the Green Book Prize. He collaborates with cultural institutions such as Scuola Holden, and contributes to publications including Sotto il Vulcano, Il Tascabile, and numerous international scientific journals.
