Paolo Sylos Labini Paolo Sylos Labini (1920) is one of Italy’s foremost intellectuals and economists. His contribution to economics and social science is internationally recognised. He has taught at the Universities of Catania, Bologna and Rome, he is a member of the Accademia dei Lincei, has won the Saint Vincent Prize for Economics, as well as the Premio Invernizzi, and the Premio Feltrinelli for Economics.
