Luigi Garlando

is a writer and a journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport since 1991. He has been writing kids’ books for years. His book Per questo mi chiamo Giovanni (Fabbri, 2004) on the life of Giovanni Falcone is one of the most read volumes in Italian schools. He won the Premio Strega Ragazzi this year with the novel L’estate che conobbi il Che (Rizzoli). His new book about friendship, Io e il Papu (Rizzoli) has just come out.
