Luciano Garofano Luciano Garofano is the Italian forensic police’s best known detective. Carabiniere, and head of the RIS, Parma, he has investigated some of the most famous recent Italian crimes. Author of numerous Italian and international specialist publications, he has written L’enigma del Boiardo (Armando, 2003) and, recently, Delitti imperfetti (Marco Tropea, 2004).
