Francesco Poli
Francesco Poli teaches Contemporary Art History at Milan’s Accademia di Brera. He is chargé de cours at the Université Paris 8. He’s written essays and articles for newspapers, reviews and catalogues, on the most important artists of the 20th century. He has been an exhibition curator in public and private spaces, his latest one is the Biennale Internazionale di Scultura in Carrara. Among his books are: Produzione artistica e mercato (Einaudi, 1975); La Metafisica (Laterza, 1989); Dizionario di arte contemporanea with M. Corgnati (Feltrinelli, 1994); Minimalismo, Arte Povera, Arte Concettuale (Laterza, 1995); Il sistema dell’arte contemporanea (Laterza, 1999); he has also edited for Electa: Arte Contemporanea (2003) and Arte Moderna (2007); La scultura del Novecento (Laterza, 2006); Arte contemporanea (Mondadori, 2007); Gli anni Cinquanta - Arte Contemporanea (Electa-L’Espresso, 2008).
