Francesca Rossi

Francesca Rossi is a global leader in ethical AI and a research scientist at IBM. She has been working in AI area for more than thirty years and published over 190 articles in international journals, in proceedings of international conferences or workshops, and as book chapters. She was a professor of computer science at the University of Padoa, Italy. She is fellow of the AI European Association (Eur AI) and of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), and participates to several projects on AI ethics as the Future of Life Institute, Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, Partnership on AI and the group of AI experts of the European Commission. In 2020 she will be the general chair of the most important convention on AAAI. Her new book Il confine del futuro. Ci possiamo fidare dell’Intelligenza Artificiale? will be published (Feltrinelli) will be published by the end of August.
