Martina Mazzotta
Martina Mazzotta is an art historian with a background in philosophy. She studied in Germany and worked for years in Milan at the Gabriele Mazzotta publishing house, together with Fondazione Antonio Mazzotta. She now lives in London, where she is an Associate Fellow at the Warburg Institute. She is the author of numerous publications and exhibitions – in Italy and abroad – which have broadened her horizons on the relationship between art, philosophy, science, and music. In Italy, her most recent exhibitions include: Kandinsky->Cage, Musica e Spirituale nell’Arte, Jean Dubuffet. L'arte in gioco and Max Ernst. Ten years ago, she curated Wunderkammer for the Poldi Pezzoli Museum and the Gallerie d'Italia. Among her future projects, a new research about ‘art’ and ‘wonder’.
