Silvio Soldini, Cristiana Mainardi

A different tomorrow

Un altro domani is an extraordinary docufilm directed by Silvio Soldini and written together with Cristiana Mainardi. An in-depth investigation of affective relationships to understand how violence is born and how it can be prevented in a country still pervaded by patriarchy. A great human fresco, made up of the testimonies of perpetrators of violence, victims of abuse, orphans of feminicide, and of those who are responsible for handling the problem: State Police, magistrates, lawyers, anti-violence centres, psychologists, and criminologists who take part in therapy programs for men. An investigation that makes us understand how love – pure wonder – always wins against hate. After the screening, Alessandra Simone, police commissioner of Savona, and Beatrice Fraschini, member of UNAVI (Unione Nazionale Vittime) will be in the cinema together with Soldini and Mainardi. Total duration of the event: 3 hours.
