“Borderline” kids meet the adult world
Being borderline kids is like constantly living in a frontier land. A boundary-area where pain is not felt and where time, space and connections have no meaning. Statistically, borderline children face greater risks, and shorter life expectation: what can be done for them? The suppression of the experience of pain, the lack of generational interexchange, the decline in the authority of social institutions (the State, the school system, politics) and of fathers themselves create generations of young people who are no longer inclined to thought and tolerating frustration, and to a general weakening of society. However, we must not give way to pessimism: there are effective cures and remedies that can return humanity’s path to safe conditions.
