Dino Ticli

The origins of art

There are gifts that come from afar, discoveries that date back to 40,000 years ago. Neanderthals were the first artists in history and the first to build a musical instrument. In this workshop among history, art and music we will retrace and recreate the steps that led to the birth of aesthetic sense and musicality.

Dino Ticli is a geologist, naturalist and science teacher in High School. He is author of various books for young people, among novels, scientific poulariser essays and short stories. His passion for science made him write adventure novels in which scientific topics are easily and ironically told. His latest books include Piante e animali terribili (Lapis, 2017) and Terra pianeta inquieto (Coccole Book, 2017).
