Dreaming of a new cohexistance
Leaving the home country can tear people apart.
Every exile carries not only their inner conflict, but also the feeling of being an outsider in the new country: all of a sudden, he belongs to either an ethnic, linguistic, religious or gender “minority”.
On the other hand, the lifestyle of the original inhabitants is tested by daily contact with diversity. Despite all good intentions, the friction of different cultures and origins leads us to develop a distance, to underline a difference and to take disparities for granted.
Where does the belief in the inferiority of minorities originate from?
What kind of new cohabitation can we dream for our future?
Interpreter: Sonia Folin
